PREMIERE EVENT FAQ
A. Thursday, September 27th. The party starts at 7:30pm, with the actual showing of the pilot (about 20 minutes) at 8:00pm.
A. Good City Brewing. 2108 N. Farwell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53202.
Q. What exactly is this?
A. A few years ago we got this really dumb idea to make our own television show. Through a lot of ups and downs (let's call them...learning experiences) we finally completed the pilot and now we want to host a launch event to celebrate and hopefully gain enough traction to turn this into a full time operation.
Q. What is the show about?
A. "Senior Living" revolves around the character of Tyler Coen, a workaholic in his late 20s who is unceremoniously fired from his 9-5 office job. Desperate for work, Tyler becomes the marketing director of a worn down and struggling senior living center. Tyler comes up with an idea to bring more residents in by hosting a shuffleboard tournament, but he has to go up against a variety of residents who wittingly or unwittingly stand in his way of his definition of success.
Q. Does it cost anything to attend?
A. I'm trying to get people to come, so no.
Q. What do I wear?
A. Whatever you want. If you think you look hot, wear it. This is NOT a formal event whatsoever.
Q. I have to park on the East Side of Milwaukee?
A. If you cannot find street parking, Good City has a small lot behind their building. There is also free parking starting at 7pm at the Columbia St. Mary's Prospect Commons structure (shared with Whole Foods) at 2401 N. Maryland Ave. See the map below for further details.
Q. Are children allowed?
A. Yes! Even though it's a brewery/bar, Good City allows children with an adult over the age of 21. The show itself does not have any swearing, but there are some sexual references and fighting.
Q. Will food and drink be provided?
A. Unfortunately, no. You can purchase foods and drinks from Good City, though.
Q. I actually have a thing that night, do I have to come?
A. This has been in the works for far too long and we just want to celebrate with all our friends, but there are plenty of ways to support us. You can check out our Patreon page right here:
